brand identity & strategy / CREATIVE DIRECTION / COPYWRITING

In 2018 Kickapoo Coffee announced its intention to change its name and fully rebrand. As the company’s Brand & Marketing Manager, and later as an independent contractor, I spearheaded the comprehensive rebrand and worked with an internal Leadership Team and the Oregon-based design firm, Jolby, to name, define, and populate the new Wonderstate brand.

Highlights include:

  • Brand identity and rebrand strategy, including internal and external brand positioning

  • Creative direction for the umbrella brand, packaging, merchandise, and coffee blends

  • Copywriting for all core brand elements, including print and digital collateral, the updated website, and all packaging

  • Blend sub-brand identity development

Shizue provided a holistic approach around her brand positioning work for us.
